The Garden in the Park

The Chester Baha'is took part in the garden competition this summer in Grosvenor Park.  The garden was bigger this year than last, as we had been allocated an extra area.  The garden has a message about the importance of families in the fabric of society, and an interesting steel sculpture depicting a family stands amongst the plants.  Several of the local Baha'is assisted by other volunteers helped to create the contribution to this event.
We also organised a children's painting group on judging day which was appreciated by children playing there.

Part of the Garden can be seen behind the bench, with the gazebo providing a focal point for our activities.
